Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise: Song and Dance Video

Putting on quite the show, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise took the stage and wowed the crowd at “A Fine Romance” benefit for The Motion Picture and Television Fund over the weekend.

The former “Dawson’s Creek” star sang “Whatever Lola Wants” from the musical “Damn Yankees” while tantalizing her “Top Gun” husband across the stage.
In related news, it was announced last week that Ms Katie has signed up to play the role of America’s most famous First Lady, Jackie Onassais.

The 31-year-old will star opposite Greg Kinnear, who will be taking on the role President John F. Kennedy, in the eight-hour mini series, “The Kennedys.”

Amy Adams: Ready to Pop

Showing off her fully blossomed baby bump, Amy Adams was spotted out on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday afternoon (May 5).

The expecting actress was all smiles as she slowly walked into a local medical building - with Amy and fiancé Darren Le Gallo's fist baby due any time now.
The outing comes just as Miss Adams' most recent movie "Leap year" sees in its release on DVD.

The film finds "a woman who has an elaborate scheme to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day, an Irish tradition which occurs every time the date February 29 rolls around, face a major setback when bad weather threatens to derail her planned trip to Dublin. With the help of an innkeeper, however, her cross-country odyssey just might result in her getting engaged."

Kate Gosselin: School Duty

Keeping on top of her motherly duties, Kate Gosselin was spotted picking her children up from school in Reading, Pennsylvania on Wednesday (May 5).

Wearing a dark brown springtime frock with a cute pink sweater, the "Twist of Kate" star helped Alexis and Joel into the van while readying for the ride home.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Kate has announced that she’ll be returning to the “Dancing with the Stars” program later this month.

Ms. Gosselin blogged, "I think there better be one more dance left in me: Get ready for the DWTS finale on May 24, 25!!! I'll be there..."

Rachel Uchitel: South of the Border Sexy

Having made a name for herself through her appeal to married celebrity men, Rachel Uchitel was spotted at an airport in Mexico on Wednesday (May 5).

The mistress of Tiger Woods showed off her busty figure and dark tan in a cleavage-baring green dress as she readied for a flight to Los Angeles, California.
According to TMZ reports, Miss Uchitel is making the visit to Tinseltown to publicly deny any attempts to extort money from new cheating club member, "Bones" actor David Boreanaz.

Apparently, it was another lady that demanded a six figure payment from Boreanaz - and Rachel wants to clear up her name... or what's left of it, that is.

Bret Michaels describes his emergency room plea

Rocker Bret Michaels is speaking out for the first time since his emergency hospitalization 10 days ago for a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The dramatic events include a particularly tough moment when he first arrived at the hospital.

Instead of complaining about the difficulties of this dramatic experience, Michaels says he feels lucky to be alive.

When Michaels was first brought to the emergency room, the father of two was asked by the doctor if he had any children.

“And I said in these exact words, ‘Am I dying? If I’m dying, I want to see my kids, but if I have a chance, I don’t want them to see me in this condition,’ ” he told People Magazine.

Michaels was released from the Phoenix, Arizona hospital on Tuesday. He’s currently at a rehabilitation facility, and is expected to make a full recovery.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Michael’s doctor said he predicted that Bret would make a 100 percent recovery, a feat that only 10 to 20 percent of patients accomplish

Chely Wright says she considered suicide

Chely Wright’s coming out story has touched me so deeply and I think it will tough a lot of other people – gay or straight. For some, you will see a lot of yourself when she talks about the pain of the closet and others – straight people – will hopefully have more understanding and compassion about the coming out process.

The country music star said in an interview on “The Today Show” this morning that she felt there was no way to reconcile being a lesbian with the rest of her life so she considered ending it: “I had a 9 millimeter gun in my mouth. I was taking inventory of my life and I realized I had pieces that I just couldn’t get to intersect. I was living a secret life and I was very much a country music celebrity, and I saw no way to get those to coexist. I gave up hope and I was ready to take my own life.”

Madonna on her new film

Madonna says she’s having trouble adjusting to the stresses and demands of being a filmmaker – and longs for a little time in her garden.

“It seems like the whole world is against you,” Madonna told filmmaker Gus Van Sant, who chatted with the Material Mom in Interview magazine’s May issue about her upcoming film, W.E. – which she is thick in the process of writing and directing.

“I’ve never had that experience before, because making records and putting my shows together – except at the very beginning of my career, I’ve never really experienced much resistance,” she continued. “But when you make a movie, it seems like there’s nothing but resistance. It’s kind of a miracle that any movie ever gets made. Every other day, it’s like, ‘What am I doing? This is insane. I could be off gardening right now. This is too stressful. Who do I think I am? Why am I putting myself through all of this punishment?’ That’s what it feels like-for me, anyway.”

Typo brings Seinfeld star back down to Earth

They misspelled Julia Louis-Dreyfus's name on her Hollywood Walk of Fame star, but the Emmy-winning star of Seinfeld and The New Adventures of Old Christine seemed tickled by the typo.

The mistake? The star read "Luis" instead of "Louis", and there was no hyphen between Louis and Dreyfus.

"The misspelling was so perfectly apt, a great metaphor for show business," Louis-Dreyfus said after the Tuesday-morning ceremony. "Right when you think you've made it, you get knocked down," she continued. "It's an ideal metaphor for how this business works."
Following the ceremony, it was announced that the last Walk of Fame honoree whose name was misspelled was actor Dick Van Dyke in 1993.

Attendees at the Louis-Dreyfus ceremony included cast and crew members of Christine, as well as Seinfeld director Andy Ackerman, co-star Jason Alexander and co-creator Larry David, who joked, "I am prepared to give up my nights and weekends to guard this [star] with my life from the filth and pollutants to which it's prone. Anyone who so much as sneezes near this area, while I'm on duty ... well, I'll say, 'God bless you,' but I won't be happy about it."

Louis-Dreyfus, 49, is the first Seinfeld principal to get the Walk of Fame honour, as well as the first to enjoy a successful follow-up series, Christine, for which she won an Emmy in 2006.

CBS has yet to announce whether it will renew the sitcom for 2010-11. "Oh, I certainly hope we'll be back," Louis-Dreyfus noted. "We love doing it. And I think it's very likely that we'll be back next season. Yes."

A spokeswoman for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which administrates the Walk of Fame ceremonies, said it would install a new, correctly spelled star and would be sending Louis-Dreyfus the erroneous "LUIS" and the accompanying chunks of pink-terrazzo star as souvenirs.
