Currently on the road to recovery, Bret Michaels chatted about his recent hospitalization on the Oprah Winfrey show - confessing that he knew something “was severely wrong” the instant it happened.
The “Rock Of Love” star said of his subarachnoid hemorrhage, "It just exploded instantly – ran from my temple down to the back of my skull.”
And although it was a scary time in his life, Michaels said that wasn’t going to stop his signature bandana, even while lying in the hospital bed.
"I said, 'If I'm going out, I want to go out rockin','" he recalls.
While Michaels recovers, he still plans to return to the stage in Biloxi, Miss. on May 28 and is hoping to appear at the May 23 live season finale of “Celebrity Apprentice,” where he has made it to the final two with a chance to win $250,000 for his charity
